Oil filter is a filtering device that uses gravity, centrifugation, pressure, vacuum distillation, mass transfer and other technical methods to remove mechanical impurities, oxidation by-products and water in impure oil. The oil filter is mainly used to improve the cleanliness of mechanical and electrical oil, give full play to its good performance and prolong the service life of the equipment.

The functions of the oil filter are different

1、 Oil filter for filtering impurities, such as plate and frame oil filter, filter oiler, automatic slag removal oil filter and bag type oil filter.

2、 Oil filter for filtering impurities, moisture and gas, such as vacuum oil filter and bag oil filter.

3、 Oil filter for restoring oil color and regeneration. For example, vibration slag removal decolorization oil filter, automatic slag removal oil filter, etc.

4、 It is an oil filter with the above functions, and the filtered products have passed the inspection of the national new oil standard (GB). For example, ZTS integrated purifier.

Scope of application

It is mainly applicable to mining, metallurgy, petroleum, railway, machinery, chemical industry, textile, cement, power plant, instrument and other departments. It plays a great role in the purification and regeneration of various industrial lubricating oils with pollution deterioration, prolongs the maintenance cycle and service life of the equipment, and reduces the production cost. It can effectively remove pollutants in oil products, such as water, water-soluble acid, alkali and mechanical impurities, and improve the kinematic viscosity, flash point and emulsification of oil products. Make the oil quickly recover to the required performance, close to or reach the corresponding national new oil standard.

Viscosity of oil

The high viscosity oil cannot pass through the fine filter screen and the accuracy needs to be reduced. Because: (1) the filter element is often blocked and needs to be cleaned or even replaced frequently. (2) Increase the axial pressure, so that the oil can pass through the filter screen quickly, but it will often crush the filter element.

(3) Add preheating oil tank to increase temperature and reduce viscosity.

Generally speaking, the filtration accuracy of the fine filtration stage is selected as:

(1) Insulating oil, select 1 ~ 5 μ m。

(2) Lubricating oil and turbine oil below 46, choose 10 ~ 20 μ m。

(3) Select 20 ~ 50 for internal combustion engine oil and gear oil μ m。

Mechanical principle ordinary oil filter

Ordinary oil filter is a movable device composed of filter bed, oil pump and coarse filter.

The filter bed can be operated continuously. Under the action of pressure, dirty oil is pressed into the filter filtered on the side. The filter is composed of a complete set of alternately arranged filter plates and filter frames and a mechanism including manual screw compression device and compression plate. A filter paper (or filter cloth) as a filter medium is padded between the filter plate and the filter frame (small ring). By the pressure of the pressing device, the filter plate and the filter frame are pressed between the fixed central pipe and the movable pressing plate to form a separate filter chamber. The filter paper (or filter cloth) pressed between the filter plate and the filter frame plays a filtering role. The dirty oil is introduced from the center, filtered by the filter chamber, and the clean oil is led out from another corresponding channel of the filter plate.
